Roller Coaster Weekend

On May 15th we went to Utah for the weekend.

Mike had to go to Lagoon for work to help out with a Physics day. I decided to go down and spend the day with Megan and go shopping.

We had so much fun, thank you Megan, shopping for fabric and baby items. We went to JoAnn fabric where I found the cutest material for the curtains. They are gold, green, and red striped with butterflies and dragonflies. We then went to lunch at Carl's Jr and and good burgers.

We spent a long time at Babies R Us where I tried out stroller systems. It was so nice to be able to push them around and play with it. I also bought a night dress and onesies in purple.

We then went back to Megan's where we met up with Scott and Mike. We played the Wii and board games that Mike now wants, The Settlers of Catan.

On Saturday as we were getting ready to leave we received a call from Mom S saying that Grandma Pack so not doing well. A couple of week earlier she had fallen in the garage, took about two hours to get to help, and broke her pelvis. She had since been in the hospital and had recently been moved to a rehabilitation center to recover. She did not want to be there.

After much discussion mom decided to get Krystal and they would come as far as Megan's to spend the night. The following day we all drove to American Fork to see her.

When we arrived she had declined and they were just giving her enough medicine for her to be comfortable. Auntie was arranging for her to go home and die. While we were there she woke up briefly and we were all able to give her a kiss and tell her we loved her. We told her good-bye and let her know that it was OK to go be with Grandpa. We hope she will not suffer for long.
