Yesterday Mike, Krystal, Kimberly, Jessica (Kimberly's friend) and I went to see the movie Twilight.
I was very excited to go see the movie because I heard that Stephenie Myer was very closely involved with the making of it. She wanted the movie to be recognizable as her book and not just based on the book. It worked because the movie very closely followed the book.
I was a little unsure of some of the actors that were playing the characters before we went to the movie, but was very pleased with their acting and thought each fit the part. I thought that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart did a great job as Edward and Bella.
My only disappointment was that the movie was a little short. I thought that some of the scenes could have been a little longer. The one scene that was too short was the fight at the end.
I just read on Stephenie's official site that Summit Entertainment is officially moving forward with the production of the second book in the Series "New Moon." It will be interesting to see how that book is filmed, because most of the book is Bella and her thoughts. Can't wait to see and will definitely be buying the movies.
