TV Shows

I like watching TV but, it makes me so mad when shows end without warning. One week you are watching the show and the next it is cancelled. How are the ratings supose to go up on a show if every season new shows are on. I just don't get it.

I have decided that if the show is "not good enough" then it is cancelled without even another blink of the eye. They don't care about what we think! How am I supose to get hooked on a show if it goes not air for for then one season.

Too many shows out there are all the same and sometimes it takes a little bit for the word to go around that the show is good and not just "another one of those." For example Scrubs, my sister has now got us hooked on that show. They bought the eposides and are always watching them when we go over. After seeing a few we have decided that it is not as stupid as first thought. It is actually quite funny.

You may be wondering what spurred this. Today when I opened Yahoo there was an article of the shows that are being cancelled. As a clicked through I noticed that most were not on for very long. Here are the shows that I enjoyed that are being cancelled:

Eli Stone -Would have liked to known if he was going to live. Producer stated that he would have been able to close up all the loose ends in one more season. Hope comes to DVD.

The Unit- We have watched this from the start and I can see where some of the story lines have grown stale, but am sad to see it go.

Knight Rider- Have heard too many people thought it was too much like the old ones.

My Own Worst Enemy- Knew this was cancelled when stopped after only 9 episodes. Too bad he was cute!

Crusoe- Now I will never know if gets on the island, ahh!

Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles- For Krystal, surpries me with all the hype on the new movie.

Now I am down to only a couple shows to watch, guess will have to see if anything "good" comes out.

Here are the shows I watch (DVR):

NCIS
Desperate Housewives
Chuck
Heroes
The Amazing Race
Leverage
Hell's Kitchen
LOST (if we can ever get caught up from the DVD's)

Guess we will be buying more DVD's to watch the shows we want.
